How does color extraction work?
The tool samples pixels from your image using the browser's Canvas API, groups similar colors through quantization, and returns the most frequently occurring color groups.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image is never sent to any server.
How many colors can it extract?
The tool extracts up to 8 dominant colors. For images with gradients or many similar tones, you may see fewer distinct results.
