FAQ

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API and WebAssembly. Your images never leave your device.

What formats are supported?

You can upload PNG, JPG, WEBP, and GIF. The Convert tab lets you export to PNG, JPG, WEBP, or GIF.

Does the resizer maintain aspect ratio?

Yes — when resizing by pixels there is a lock icon between width and height. When it's locked, changing one dimension automatically updates the other to maintain the original ratio.

What is the best format for web images?

WEBP is generally the best format for web — it produces 25–35% smaller files than PNG or JPG at the same visual quality, and is supported in all modern browsers.

Can I process multiple images at once?

Yes. Use the Bulk tab to upload multiple images and apply the same resize, convert, or compress action to all of them at once. You can then download each file individually or all at once.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no hard limit — it depends on your device's available memory. Very large images (above 20MP) may take a few seconds to process.
